Karate Open Session at Burnholme

On Saturday 4th of June we will be opening our session, in Burnholme Community Centre, to everyone. Come along and see what we can do. Have a go or just watch or have a chat about what we do and how Karate can help you for self defence, and fitness.

Wear clothing that you can move in if you want to have a go.

York Elite is a family friendly club with members from 6 to 60 plus. Many of our members train with their children. For the more competitive members compete regularly in national competitions.

Karate is great for keeping fit - much more fun than the gym. Competitions in Kata (showing good form) and Kumite (Fighting - not full contact) are available for the more competitive.

Karate can also help boost confidence and has self defence applications too.
